She is the daughter of John and Cherry Coen, Ottawa.
He is the son of Mike and Kitty Champlin, Cedar Vale, Kan.
She wore the white satin and lace full-length gown that her mother wore in her wedding in 1982.
She carried flowers of purple, white and teal.
Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Jessica Flory, Overbrook, Kan. Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Whitney Coen, Prairie Village.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin, Kelsey Low; the groom’s sister, Erin Champlin; and friends of the bride, Emily Page, Jill Spratt and Hannah Hartsig.
Flower girl was Ellie McClure. Ring bearer was Devin Holt.
Groomsmen were brothers of the couple, Jon Champlin, Brett Champlin and Todd Coen; and a friend, Ellis McClure.
Candlelighters and readers were the bride’s friends, Rachel Richardson and Lindsey Kreikemeier.
Ushers were brother-in-law, Mark Flory; future brother-in-law, Joe Brown; and friends Wes Sylvester and Mark Wray.
Vocalist was the bride’s friend, Lacey Wray. Pianist Marilyn VanRoekel, Iowa City, and organist Karen Skovgard, Des Moines, both aunts of the bride, provided music.
The gift table and guest book attendants were the couple’s friends, Sarah Duggan and Sarah Lott.
A dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Sacred Heart Parish Center in Ottawa.
Her grandparents are Peggy Coen and the late Marion Coen, Ottawa, and Evelyn and the late Elmer Kinsinger, Oskaloosa, Iowa.
His grandparents are Max and Shirley Steuver, Andale, Kan., and Virginia and the late Merl Champlin of Cedar Vale, Kan. There was a peace lily on the altar in memory of the couple’s grandfathers.
She graduated from Ottawa High School in 2006 and from Kansas State University in 2011. She teaches vocational agriculture in Sedan, Kan.
He graduated from Cedar Vale High School in 2004 and from Hutchinson Community College in 2006. He works at Caney Valley Electric.
The couple is at home in Cedar Vale, Kan.
