Accidents
• 4:41 a.m. Thursday, 1300 block of North Davis Avenue, a vehicle driven by Marie Powell, 28, Richmond, struck a vehicle driven by Seth Harris, 18, Baldwin City. Harris was cited for improper left turn, according to a police report.

• 5:17 a.m. Wednesday, 1313 S. Olive St., firefighters responded to a report of a parked 2002 Dodge Caravan that was ablaze on Olive Street. Firefighters extinguished the fire in the unoccupied vehicle. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
• 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, 836 E. 10th St., authorized controlled burning.
• Firefighters assisted with four medical calls Wednesday and Thursday.
