Representatives with the local Salvation Army are asking for your help with this year’s bell ringing.
The campaign, which runs through the holiday season, is set to begin Saturday. Last year, the Saturday launch brought in more than $900.
Volunteers are needed for two locations at Wal-Mart Supercenter and a location at Country Mart. Time slots are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to bell ringing, the Salvation Army also will collect donations through 80 kettles placed at various businesses and other locations throughout the county.
Eighty-eight percent of donations stay in Franklin County, Adam Lynch, with the Salvation Army of Franklin County, has said.

The bell ringing goal this year is $22,222, while the counter kettle goal is $2,000.
This year’s slogan is “It will take YOU to reach $22,222.”
