Rebecca Sue “Becky” Stevenson, 60, Rantoul, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012.
Cremation is planned with a private family inurnment service. Family will meet with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Rantoul Community Presbyterian Church.
She was born Saturday, Jan. 12, 1952, in Ottawa, Kan., the daughter of Merton Ralph and Dorothy May (Macklin) Stevenson.
She was a lifelong Rantoul resident.
Becky worked at COF Training Services in Ottawa from July 1, 1988, until retiring Jan. 25, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merton R. and Dorothy M. Stevenson; two brothers, Richard Stevenson and Eugene Stevenson; infant brother, Bobbie Stevenson; and infant sister, Nylwin Marie Stevenson.
Survivors include a brother, John Stevenson and his wife, Jean, Marshfield, Mo.; three sisters, Betty Stevenson, Rantoul, Marilyn Waltman and her husband, Carl, Pomona, and Phyllis Johnson and her husband, Lee, Rantoul; 11 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Rebecca Sue Stevenson Memorial Fund through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
