Lawrence J. Guenther, 65, Paola, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at North Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Paola.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Paola. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born April 2, 1927, in Gary, Ind., to Theodore and Lillian (Janssen) Guenther.
