Beverly A. Sellers, 78, Ottawa, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Sunflower Plaza in Ottawa.
A graveside inurnment service is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Ottawa. A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, followed by a family and friends visitation from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
She was born Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Gene Paul and Frances A. (Klienschmidt) Mille.
She moved to Ottawa with her family in 1939, lived two years in California and returned to Ottawa in 1954.
Beverly graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1952.
She started as an operator for the Bell Telephone Company in 1952 in Palo Alto, Calif., and transferred to Kansas City and then to Ottawa; took 10 years off and then later was employed with United Telecom, later known as Sprint, as a fraud investigator, retiring in 1995.
Beverly was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa.
In August 1954, Beverly was united in marriage with Gerald Sellers in Kansas City, Kan. They later divorced.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene P. and Frances A. Mille; infant brother, Paul Mille; brother, David Mille; son-in-law, Jack Judd; and sisters-in-law, Carol Mille and Nancy Mille.
Survivors include a son, Michael Ray Sellers and wife, Cynthia, Nowata, Okla.; a daughter, Linda Judd, Grove, Okla.; grandson, David Sellers and wife, Lorie, Nowata, Okla.; step-granddaughter, Ivie Judd-Barbee and husband, Gerald, Jay, Okla.; two great-granddaughters, Breann Sellers and Nicole Sellers; three brothers, Kenneth Mille, Ottawa, Richard Mille and wife, Sheri, Versailles, Mo., and Frank Mille and wife, Sharon, Coeur D Alene, Idaho; and a sister, Mary Fowler, Ottawa.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Catholic Church through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
