Bradford L. “Brad” Medcalf, 61, Osawatomie, Kan., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Girard Medical Center.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be planned for his family.
Brad was born April 9, 1951, in Iola, Kan., the son of Thomas and Mary Ellen (Bartlett) Medcalf.
He graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1969.
He lived in Ottawa for a number of years before just recently moving to Osawatomie. He was involved in selling cars and liked to fish and hunt. In later years, he enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his sister, Darlene Armstrong and husband, Ken, Ottawa; brother, Tom Medcalf and wife, Linda, Ecuador; nieces, Erika Durman and husband, Will, and Vanessa Frazier; nephew, Kaleb Armstrong; and great-niece, Cora Durman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
