Esther Crawford, 92, Bentonville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in Rogers, Ark.
Cremation is planned. Family will meet with friends 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012. Graveside services and inurnment are planned at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Bonner Springs Cemetery, Bonner Springs, Kan.
Esther Breedlove was born Thursday, July 29, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan., to Roy and Clara Breedlove.
She attended Wyandotte County schools and graduated from Washington Rural High School in 1939.
On May 11, 1947, she married Ralph Crawford in Kansas City, Kan. He preceded Esther in death March 11, 2008.
They resided in Ottawa, Kan., Stockton, Mo., Andover, Kan., and Bentonville, Ark.
Esther will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, a wonderful cook and hostess and for her sense of humor.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Fogle and husband, Greg, Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, Roy Breedlove, Kansas City, Kan.; two grandsons, Grant and Chase Fogle; and several nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; sisters, Helen Brune and Edna Breedlove; and brother, Laurence Breedlove.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Circle of Life Hospice or Second Street Pantry, First United Methodist Church Bentonville through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
