Roger W. Linneman, 59, Pomona, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.
Graveside services are planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa. Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Linneman from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Dengel & Son Mortuary, where the family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
He was born Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1953, in Ottawa, the son of Howard Warren and Helen Irene (Perry) Linneman.
He was a near-lifelong Franklin County resident.
Roger attended Spring Creek Grade School and Wellsville High School.
Roger worked in the union as a carpenter retiring in 1989.
Roger enjoyed going hunting and fishing and also working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Linneman; grandfather, Hubert Perry; grandmother, Amy Perry; and brother, Robert Linneman.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Linneman, Pomona; son, Ricky Linneman, Pomona; two brothers, John Linneman and Jeff Linneman, both of Pomona; three sisters, Roberta Payne, Gardner, Jackie Hopkin, Pomona, and Pam Crain, Ottawa; a grandson, Clint Linneman; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
