Linda Beth Nichols, 50, Boise, Idaho, died Dec. 18, 2012, at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.
Services are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 3430 N. Maple Grove Road in Boise, Idaho.
Linda was born Oct. 27, 1962, in Maui, Hawaii, to Riley and Alvera Nichols.
She attended Capital High School and went on to become a creative and extraordinarily talented graphic artist in Dallas, Texas, Burbank, Calif., Reno, Nev., and most recently, Boise, Idaho.
She enjoyed the great Idaho outdoors, Sun Valley and gourmet dining with her husband, Rick. Her sharp and witty sense of humor will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Riley Nichols and her son, Michael.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Williams; mother, Alvera Nichols; sisters and their spouses: Pamela and Walter Hennig, Wendy Nichols, Carlene and Sean Rocke and Jennifer and Scott Zerwas; and several nieces and nephews.
God hath not promised skies always blue, flower-strewn path-ways all our lives through.
God hath not promised sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God hath promised strength for the day, rest for the labor, light for the way.
Grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy, undying love.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman Street, Boise ID 83705.
