The survey team is expected to obtain information to support a study for possible improvements to the K-68 corridor, KDOT said. Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the corridor. The survey is based on the existing highway alignment. Elevations will be obtained on the BNSF Railroad crossing east of Pomona, KDOT said.
Members of the survey crew are expected to be in contact with property owners and/or tenants for permission to enter private property, KDOT said. Rob Selley, L.S., party chief, will be in charge of this survey for KDOT.
