The Baldwin and Ottawa boys teams finished at the top of the Frontier League, while Anderson County nipped Iola by a point in the Pioneer League.
The girls race begins at 2:30 p.m. with the boys at 3 p.m. The top three teams qualify for the 4A state meet.
The girls field features Anderson County, the Pioneer League champ, along with third-place Osawatomie and Southeast Kansas League runner-up Fort Scott.
Fort Scott senior Katren Rienbolt is a three-time league champion.
Sugar Valley Golf Course in Mound City will be the site of a 3A regional that features local schools Central Heights, Wellsville and West Franklin. The girls race is at 3 p.m. followed by the boys at 3:30 p.m.
The Wellsville boys are gunning for its sixth straight trip to state as team. Wellsville is led by senior Chase Bouse, the Pioneer League champion.
The Wellsville girls, the Pioneer League runner-up, are attempting to qualify for state for the first time in many years. The Eagles are led by freshman Lauren McDaniel, the Pioneer League champ.
The West Franklin girls want to return to state as a team after a year absence. The Falcons just missed last year.
