Things of ill management, secrecy and possible corruption are suspect because information is not in the open and often swept under the rug.
If Ed Taylor, A.K.A. John Taylor, is re-elected, he would be in that seat 16 years. Since he has been in power, there is a book of major goof-ups that had to be fixed because of his poor judgment. His “Southern charm” seems to be his key and pay-off.
In essence, things have gone “south” in so many years. There have been too many cover-ups and secret deals.
I visited with the person running against Taylor. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and generally a swell guy. He could do a better job!
It’s time to “freshen up” the commission with a replacement for Taylor’s seat.
