Salvation Army Kettle Campaign

Many volunteers are needed for the Salvation Army’s yearly red kettle effort, which simply involves ringing a bell and receiving cash donations into the kettle to support vital Salvation Army services. The project began Friday and runs through Christmas Eve. One and two hour shifts are available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at both County Mart, 2138 S. Princeton Circle Drive, and Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., in Ottawa. This activity is very suitable for adults and children to serve together.
