The West Franklin High School girls basketball team will have its hands full this week in the Flint Hills League Tournament in Emporia.
The Falcons faced top-seeded Council Grove in Monday’s opener. The girls tournament runs Thursday and Saturday.
West Franklin plays either Herington or Osage City Thursday.
The Falcons fell 52-26 Friday to Northern Heights. West Franklin finished with 29 turnovers and shot 26 percent from the field.
