The Lady Braves scored a season-best 96 points last season in a loss to Southwestern College.
On Saturday, Ottawa put up 80 points, two from a season-high of 82, in an 85-80 loss in Winfield.
It was Ottawa’s 14th straight loss to the Lady Moundbuilders. Ottawa has not beaten Southwestern since January of 2007.
Ottawa scored 82 points in the win over Saint Mary earlier this season in Wilson Field House.
Ottawa has had trouble offensively this season, averaging 58 points a game.
The Lady Braves shot 41 percent overall and from behind the three-point line. Ottawa led 41-39 at halftime and scored 39 points in the second half.
Southwestern outscored Ottawa 24-13 at the free-throw line.
Ottawa placed five players in double figures. Lauren Buckles, Shauna McClure and Kelsi Meier scored 14 points each.
Amber Ramsey and Mikayla Skidmore both scored 10 points.
Ramsey also had 12 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals.
Ottawa (8-18, 4-12) plays 6 p.m. Thursday in Leavenworth against Saint Mary.
The Lady Braves have won 10 straight games over Saint Mary and 33-2 overall. Ottawa coach Bruce Tate is 11-1 versus Saint Mary.
Saint Mary is coached by former Braves baseball player Mike Basler (1991-94).
