The Ottawa University volleyball team, which won the conference title, had two award winners and two first-team all-conference selections. The voting was by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference coaches.

Ottawa fourth-year coach Tom Symons was the coach of the year after guiding the Lady Braves to an undefeated conference title. Senior Chrissie Jeannin was the setter of the year and a first-team selection.

Junior middle Nicole Gingery also was a first-team selection.

Ottawa had two second team selections in senior hitter Kristen Hendrickson and sophomore middle Allie Arnold.

Juniors Becca Colson and Taylor Bridge were honorable mention selections.

Tabor freshman Katelin Horstick, a former Central Heights star, was a second-team selection.

Jeannin put together her best season as a senior. She has a career-high 1,156 assists, 95 kills, a hitting percentage of .340, 232 digs and 49 blocks in the regular season. Jeannin was named KCAC player of the week twice and KCAC setter of the week three times this season. She is ranked 12th in the NAIA in assists per set (10.7) and 30th in total assists (1,156).

Gingery led Ottawa in kills with 322. She has a .284 hitting percentage, 16 assists, 30 service aces, 78 digs and 70 blocks. Gingery earned KCAC hitter of the week honors once this past season.

Arnold is third on the team in kills with 256. She has a hitting percentage of .250, nine assists, three service aces, 40 digs and 113 blocks. Arnold is ranked 47th in the NAIA in total blocks (113) and 47th in total blocks per set (1).

Hendrickson is second on the team in kills with 304 and has a .194 hitting percentage. Hendrickson has 16 assists, 30 service aces, 324 digs and 26 blocks. She is the first Lady Brave in program history to compile more than 1,000 kills (1,427) and 1,000 digs (1,322).

Colson compiled 219 kills for a .238 hitting percentage. She has seven assists, 40 digs and 49 blocks.

Bridge has 256 kills for a .194 hitting percentage. She has seven assists, a team leading 43 service aces, 260 digs and 45 blocks.
