Parents with children in Ottawa schools will register online this year. No paper enrollments will be available.

According to the school district’s website, the Skyward system will allow families to enroll, and make payments for lunches and other school fees. A food service application will also be available for the possibility of free/reduced tuition and meals. The online system helps the district “reduce operating costs,” according to the Ottawa school district website.

Enrollment is open until Aug. 9. To register, log on to Skyward and select the “online registration” tab, located on the left-hand side. The system will prompt you to follow the form with directions and update information for students.

No additional fees will be added in order to register online. The system also allows families to pay for multiple students’ accounts via one transaction. For families who have a new student or need to register in person, or do not have internet access, visit your student’s building at the scheduled enrollment time, and a computer will be available onsite.
