1 WALKING TACOS — It may not be taco Tuesday, but Ottawa Library Youth Council will be selling walking tacos from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the lobby of City Hall, 101 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. Fritos, taco meat, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and salsa will be all be available for $3. A vegetarian option with black beans will also available. Proceeds benefit Ottawa Library teen programs.

2 BACK TO THE 80s — Relive the 1980s with a free double movie feature beginning 6:30 p.m. Friday at Ottawa Memorial Auditorium, 301 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. “Sixteen Candles” (rated PG, 1 hour and 33 minutes) starts the night off, followed by “Dirty Dancing” (rated PG-13, 1 hour and 40 minutes). Concessions will be available for purchase.

3 MOTORCYCLE RIDE — This Saturday, join in the 7th Annual Run for Ben Motorcycle Ride Benefit. “Ben” was a border collie who died as a result of a hit-and-run driver in October 2010, and so the 100-mile ride benefits animals awaiting new homes at Prairie Paws Animal Shelter. Registration begins at 11 a.m., while the scenic motorcycle ride starts 1 p.m. at Forest Park, 320 N. Locust St., Ottawa. The ride begins and ends in Ottawa. An after party at O-Town, 128 S. Main St., Ottawa, will follow the ride with live music, billiards, shuffleboard and more.
