• 7:39 p.m. Thursday, 2100 block of South Princeton Street, Raina White, 23, homeless, on suspicion of theft and damage to property owned by Super Wash, according to a police report.

Incidents

• 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, 3000 block of Florida Road, a 62-year-old Pomona woman reported a propane tank appeared to have been lit on fire on the rail trail. Upon arrival, an industrial style gas can was located on the side of the trail. The can was collected from the scene as found property.

Accidents

• 7:56 a.m. Thursday, 3900 block of Indiana Terrace, a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Brad Ferrell, 24, Ottawa, was northbound on Indiana Terrace when it left the roadway, entering a ditch. The vehicle continued to travel into a culvert where it overturned in a creek bed, according to a sheriff’s report. Ferrell was not injured, the report said.

• 9:29 a.m. Thursday, 4800 block of Butler Terrace, a 2015 Honda Fit driven by Cindy Mignot, 56, Lane, was westbound on Butler Terrace when it struck a deer. No injuries reported.

• 2:08 p.m. Wednesday, 900 block of North Sycamore Street, a 78-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown subject damaged her rental property.

• 2:39 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block of South Hickory Street, a 40-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown vehicle struck a fiber optic line and left the scene. Case is under investigation.

• 8:35 a.m. Thursday, 700 block of Liberty Street, an 18-year-old Ottawa man said someone struck his legally parked 2006 Honda passenger car and left the scene.

• 1:26 p.m. Thursday, Ottawa, a 19-year-old Ottawa woman reported a sex offense. Case is under investigation.

Accidents

• 1:03 p.m. Wednesday, 1300 block of South Main Street, a 2014 Kia minivan driven by Steven Swift, 64, was traveling on Main Street when Swift attempted to make a lane change and his vehicle struck a 2000 Buick passenger car driven by Louis Holtz, 78, Paola. Swift was cited for inattentive driving, according to a police report. No injuries were reported.

• 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Enterprise Street, a 1994 GMC pickup driven by Calvin Mcclure, 23, Baldwin City, caught on fire. No injuries were reported.
