There were no changes to the outcome of last Tuesday’s general election in Franklin County.
The Board of Franklin County Commissioners canvassed the votes Monday morning in the Franklin County Courthouse and put its stamp of approval on the results.
Janet Paddock, county clerk, said the process went smooth, finishing in under 90 minutes.
“We always present everything on spread sheets for the commissioners, so they are easy for them to read and follow along with,” Paddock said. “My team always works hard to get everything ready and have everything ready to present to the commission as fast as we possibly can. Most of the races had candidates on the ballot, so they had a clear-cut winner. The results were official today.”
