RANTOUL — An Edgerton man is hoping a reward will help solve a vandalism case in Franklin County.

On Nov. 11, he discovered the tires of a tractor and trailer were punctured in the 300 block of East Main Street, Rantoul. The man, who asked not to be identified, said he is willing to offer a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime. He said the information may be given anonymously to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, (785) 229-1200.

All four tires on the 1949 tractor and trailer were ruined, he said, which will cost about $1,600 to replace.
