• 10:53 a.m. Monday, 1400 block of South Main Street, James Pendergrass, 32, Kansas City, Kansas, on suspicion of driving while suspended, after being contacted by officers.

• 11 a.m. Tuesday, Ottawa High School, 1120 S. Ash St., a 14-year-old girl on suspicion of disorderly conduct, after causing a disturbance at school.

• 3:44 p.m. Tuesday, 200 block of South Locust Street, Joshua Greer, 28, Lawrence, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, after being called in as an erratic driver.

• 2:32 p.m. Tuesday, 3300 block of Nebraska Road, a 68-year-old Ottawa man reported a trailer stolen from his business. The trailer was later recovered in Douglas County.

Accidents

• 7:09 a.m. Friday, K-68 and Tennessee Road, a 1989 Chevrolet pickup driven by Daniel Humphrey, 35, Ottawa, was northbound when it struck a deer.

• 7:20 p.m. Saturday, 4600 block of K-68, a 2005 Pontiac G6 driven by Cierra Achey, 18, Paola, was westbound on K-68 when it struck an unknown animal.

• 5:41 p.m. Sunday, 1200 block of Vermont Road, Lane, a 2005 Honda Pilot driven by Kyle House, 35, Garnett, was northbound on Vermont Road when it struck a deer in the roadway.

• 5:51 p.m. Friday, 1100 block of Underwood Street, a 38-year-old Ottawa woman reported a 14-year-old youth as a runaway. The teenager was later located.

• 3:19 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of West 10th street, received a report of a vicious animal at large. The canine was later located and taken to the shelter. Case is under investigation.

• 8:41 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of Ash Street, a 16-year-old Ottawa resident reported a violation of a protection order. Case is under investigation.

• 11:57 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of North Sycamore Street, a 14-year-old Ottawa resident reported a sex crime. The case is under investigation.

• 5:33 p.m. Monday, 1200 block of East Logan Street, Ernest Ingram, 37, Ottawa, was cited and released on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia, after being contacted on a call for service.

• 2:14 p.m. Saturday, Westwood Circle, a 62-year-old Ottawa man reported fraudulent charges on his credit card. Case is under investigation.

• 11:05 a.m. Monday, 1500 block of Apple Lane, an 86-year-old Ottawa man reported unknown suspects stole his motor vehicle. The case is under investigation.

• 2:11 p.m. Monday, 2300 block of South Princeton Street, a 25-year-old Pomona man reported a forgery and theft of a check.

• 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, Casey’s General Store, 1019 W. Seventh St., received a report that an unknown subject stole motor fuel.

• 9:26 a.m. Tuesday, 300 block of West 23rd Street, a 45-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole lug nuts from a vehicle.

• 10:08 a.m. Tuesday, Fuel Expresso, 2518 E. Logan St., a 31-year-old Overbrook woman reported an attempted use of a financial card by a known suspect. Case is under investigation.

• 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, Ottawa Mini Mart, 2243 S. Princeton St., a 68-year-old Overbrook woman reported a check was forged at Ottawa Mini Mart by a known suspect. Case is under investigation.

Accidents

• 2:35 p.m. Monday, 1500 block of South Cedar Street, a 2006 Volkswagen driven by Allexus Ransom, 19, Leawood, struck a 2014 Ford driven by Christopher Johnston, 59, Ottawa. Ransom was issued a citation for failing to yield at a stop sign.
