The City of Ottawa will be conducting a citywide clean-up weekend in June, according to a news release.
Dumpsters will be available June 22-23 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The dumpsters will be located at: Roadside Park (south of 17th Street on the west side of Highway 59); The Bottle House parking lot (300 block of Walnut Street west side); and salt storage shed (1300 block of North Cherry Street east side).
Tires and brush are acceptable to put in the dumpsters, the release said. No batteries or liquids are allowed in the dumpsters. Paint can be disposed at the Franklin County Recycling Center, 2039 S. Elm St., Ottawa, Monday through Friday [7 a.m. to 3 p.m.], with a maximum of 10 gallons per customer for Franklin County residents.
Identification will be required for city residents to drop off tires, the release said. No commercial tire drop-offs will be accepted.
