The Kansas Association of School Boards will conduct a meeting 10 a.m. Monday at the Ottawa school district office, 1404 S. Ash St., Ottawa, as part of its 2018 advocacy tour.
KASB plans to review its new publication on the state of K-12 education in Kansas, as well as major school changes from the past legislative session, a KASB spokesperson said in an email.
The presentation Monday in the school board meeting room is free and open to the public. The meetings typically draw education officials from the area, and often attract legislators and candidates.
The association represents school boards statewide and serves as the major advocacy voice for public schools in Kansas.
