GOESSEL — Ray Kraus of Wichita sank a 30-foot putt to win the 14th annual Pine Edge Putting Contest at the Pine Edge Golf Course in rural Goessel.
Ray Brundage of Wichita took second, followed by Lucas Hiebert of Goessel, Loren Tedder of North Newton and Gavin Peterson of Newton.
The top 10 finishers split a purse of $925.
The two-player scramble that followed the putting tournament drew 34 players.
Brundridge and Kraus took first. The team of Chet Roberts and John Yost took second. Clyde Goering and Anthony Jenkins took third. Rick Krehbiel and Mike Cavanaugh took fourth. Chad Lindeman and Dylan Lindeman took fifth.
Austin Kaufman of Moundridge had the longest putt. Donny Kingsley of North Newton was closest to the pin.
