The 5th Annual Going Retro Car, Vintage Trailer and Antique Boat Show is coming to Pomona State Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    There are 50 vintage trailers registered this year, the largest group of any year, with several new to the show, organizers said.
    Tours of the vintage trailers are available. Attendees can talk to the owners and get a glimpse of how camping has changed over the years. Some trailers have been preserved to their original standards  and some are modernized. Those attending the show can vote for their favorite.
    The car show has added trophies for People’s Choice, Rangers’ Choice, Top 5, Best of Eras as far back at the 1940s, Best Original and Best Car Club participation.
    Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is $15 for each car. A cruise is planned across the dam after awards are presented. Show vehicles do not pay the $5 daily car permit.
    The 5th Annual Going Retro Car, Vintage Trailer and Antique Boat Show is coordinated by Friends of Pomona State Park and Pomona State Park. The concession stand will open at 8 a.m. with coffee and LaMont Hill cinnamon rolls. The lunch menu will include hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches.
