Accidents

• 6:39 a.m. Thursday, 4200 block of K-68, Wellsville, Paige Scott, 28, Ottawa was eastbound in a 2012 Dodge Ram when she struck a deer.

• 5:30 p.m. Friday, 3700 block of K-33, Wellsville, Aaron Childers, 42, Wellsville, was northbound in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata and struck a deer.

• 7:17 p.m. Saturday, 4400 block of I-35, milemarker 199, Wellsville, William Miller, 28, Kansas City, was northbound in a 2009 Dodge Caliber when he slid off the roadway due to road conditions.

• 12:23 p.m. Thursday, 1500 block of S. Main St., Ottawa, a 74-year-old Ottawa male reported being the victim of forgery and theft by deception by a known suspect. Case is under investigation.

• 3:35 p.m. Sunday, 200 block of S. Locust St., Ottawa, a 52-year-old Ottawa female reported an unknown subject stole items from her unlocked vehicle.

• 6:40 p.m. Sunday, 2100 block of S. Princeton St., Ottawa, Samantha Sparks, 19, Ottawa, was issued a notice to appear for theft.

• 6:40 p.m. Sunday, 2100 block of S. Princeton St., Ottawa, Kyle Patton, 18, Ottawa, was issued a notice to appear for theft.

• 2:23 p.m. Thursday, 700 block of W. Second St., Ottawa, a 39-year-old Ottawa female reported a 5-year old juvenile was possibly the victim of a sex crime. Case is under investigation.

• 9:25 p.m. Thursday, 100 block of W. Tecumseh St., Ottawa, officers found items damaged at the Old Depot Museum after a disturbance.

• 1:48 a.m. Friday, 400 block of E. 11th St., Ottawa, Matthew Browning, 35, Kansas City, Kansas, for driving under the influence, transporting an open container and driving while suspended after being stopped for a traffic infraction.

• 3:46 p.m. Friday, 500 block of N. Hickory St., Ottawa, a 57-year-old Ottawa male reported he was battered by a known subject. Matthew Hunziker, 50, Ottawa, was later cited.

• 12:07 p.m. Saturday, 1000 block of W. Seventh St., Ottawa, a 55-year-old Ottawa female reported an unknown subject used her card. Case is under investigation.

Accidents

• 3:51 p.m. Friday, 500 block of S. Locust St., Ottawa, a Ford driven by a 16-year old Ottawa juvenile struck a 2000 Nissan driven by Timothy Green, 19, Ottawa. The juvenile was cited for following too closely.
