• 2:15 p.m. Thursday, 200 block of Galveston St., Princeton, Brian Kilburn, 41, Princeton, for violation of bond conditions.

• 8:38 p.m. Thursday, Binder Lane, Jodi Head, 50, Ottawa, for domestic battery and interference with law enforcement.


• 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, 2600 block of I-35, Ottawa, Timothy Mercer, 53, Emporia, was driving a 2013 Kia Optima northbound when he struck a bridge rail.

• 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, 2200 Oregon Road, Rantoul, Yanury Esmeralda Juarez-Montano, 29, Rantoul was northbound in a 2008 Kenworth when the truck began to slide on the icy roadway. Juarez-Montano over corrected and overturned in the roadway. Juarez-Montano was uninjured in the accident.

• 10:48 p.m. Tuesday, 2500 E. Logan St., Ottawa, Patrick Olsen, 31, Garnett, for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement and driving in violation of restrictions after being involved in a traffic collision.

• 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, 600 block of S. Mulberry St., Ottawa, Dalton Wadkins 23, Ottawa, for driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, transporting open container and reckless driving.

• 9:13 p.m. Wednesday, 300 block of N. Main St., Ottawa, Zachary Sawyer, 31, Ottawa, for DUI and transporting open container after being contacted by officers.

• 3:21 p.m. Thursday, 500 block of East Third St., Matthew Young, 35, Paola, for an active Johnson County warrant.

• 6:08 p.m. Thursday, 1500 block of S. Main St., Ottawa, Sydne McCurdy, 20, Pomona, and Brenden Clary, 21, Pomona, male were arrested and issued a notice to appear for theft.


• 7:30 p.m. Monday, 900 block of S. Main St., Ottawa, a 25-year-old Ottawa male reported being bitten by a dog. The dog’s owner Peggyann Darr, 36, Ottawa, was cited.

• 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, 1100 block of S. Willow St., Ottawa, a 46-year-old Ottawa male reported a known subject took his vehicle without permission. The car was later located.

• 11:14 a.m. Tuesday, 700 W. 11th St., Ottawa, a 22-year-old Ottawa female reported being threatened by a known 24-year-old male.

• 1:03 p.m. Tuesday, 1300 block of S. Twyman St., Ottawa, a 55-year-old Ottawa female reported a known subject violated a protection order numerous times.

• 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block of E. Eighth St., Ottawa, a 63-year-old Ottawa female was found deceased of unknown causes. Case is under investigation.

• 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, 1200 block of Diamondhead Road, Ottawa, a 24-year-old Ottawa male reported being battered by a known 42-year-old Ottawa male.


• 10:48 p.m. Tuesday, 2500 E. Logan St., Ottawa, a 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV driven by Emily Krueger, 18, Ottawa, was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Patrick Olsen, 31, Garnett. Olsen was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, inattentive driving and driving in violation of restrictions. A passenger in the Impala was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

7:07 a.m. Thursday, 1400 block of Pin Oak St., Ottawa, a 2003 Dodge truck driven by a 17-year-old Ottawa juvenile struck a parked vehicle. The juvenile was cited for basic speed.

• 5:40 p.m. Thursday, 3200 block of I-35, Tabtha Cross, 36, Vassar, was driving a 2018 Nissan sport utility vehicle and was struck by Sara Caruthers, 30, Wellsville, who was a driving a 1999 Chevrolet truck. Caruthers was cited basic speed and she was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital.


• 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, 1600 block of S. Main St., Ottawa, it was reported a known subject stole from the business.

• No time Wednesday, 300 block of S, Main St., Ottawa, a 30-year-old Ottawa female reported a past theft.

• 3:40 p.m. Thursday, 2100 block of S. Princeton St., Ottawa, it was reported a known subject stole items from a business.

• 10:33 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of S. Hickory St., Ottawa, a 48-year-old Ottawa male reported unknown suspects entered a residence and stole a firearm.
