Roger Neal Shaw, 59, of Wellsville, Kansas, passed away Oct. 16, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will take place 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Wilson’s Funeral Home, 607 Main St., Wellsville, with the Rev. Warren Winfrey officiating.
Roger Neal Shaw was born Jan. 9, 1958, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Roland R. and Mary A. (Shay) Shaw. Roger grew up in Carrollton, Missouri, and attended school there. He joined the Army in 1973 and upon return, he worked as an auto mechanic most of his life before becoming disabled after a horrific auto accident. Roger was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mariena K. Shaw, of the home; a sister, Kay (Katie) Shaw Nelson, Independence, Missouri; a daughter, Holly, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, stepdad, Larry Shay and his lifelong friend and cousin, Warren Winfrey and wife, Diana.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
