Bob Dean McDaniel peacefully went to be with his Lord at 5:08 p.m. Nov. 8, 2017. Bob was born on Dec. 6, 1930, in Antioch, Kansas, to Jim and June McDaniel. He married Alberta Irene McCauley on May 31, 1949.

Bob was a farmer all his life and worked for Rose Construction Company in Olathe, Kansas, for 47 years. He was easily recognized anywhere he went by his original trade-mark toolbox.

Bob is survived by his two daughters and their husbands: Lexie Lou and Tom Terrono of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Catherine Sue and Albert Thomas of Diamond City, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, LaVonne McDaniel of the family farm in Edgerton, Kansas; six grandsons and their wives — Michael and Stacy Terrono, Kevin and Stephanie Terrono, Timothy Terrono, Brian and Stephanie Collins, Troy and Breanna Collins, and Bobbie and Emily McDaniel; one granddaughter and her husband, Jana and Tim Caldwell; 10 great-grandchildren — Mallory, Alyssa, Sophia, Malachi, Makenzi, Braelyn, Cason, Laekyn, Samantha, and soon to arrive “Baby McDaniel”; as well as, sister-in-law Willa Lou Sawyer, many nieces and nephews, and lifelong neighbors and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Alberta Irene McDaniel, son, Roger Alvin McDaniel, twin infant great-grandsons Austin Michael and Andrew William Terrono, his parents, Jim and June McDaniel, step-mother, Amy McDaniel, his four older sisters and three older brothers.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, and services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, both at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville, Kansas.
