Tommy B. Setters, 76, of Garnett, Kansas, formerly of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, May 12, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brick Shelter at Forest Park, Ottawa, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 15th, 2018.

Tommy was born in Garden City, Kansas, May 6, 1942, the son of George Thomas Setters and Mabel Alice (Christie) Setters. He graduated from Garden City High School, Garden City, Kansas, with the class of 1960 and then graduated from Heavy Equipment School in Springfield, Missouri, in 1962. He attended Fort Hays State University and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

He worked for Boeing Aircraft, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Eatherly Construction (rural water) and Lister-Petter Diesel.

On Aug. 26, 1963, Tommy was united in marriage to Diana Lindsey of Kansas City, Missouri. They were blessed with one child, Aaron Setters and his wife, Julie of Ottawa, Kansas; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Lillith both of Ottawa. Tommy is also survived by a brother, John Setters of Gainesville, Georgia.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Charmaine Setters and two brothers; Leo Setters and Lewis Setters.
