Karl Eric Artinger, 60, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on June 20, 2018, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
A visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 MO-150, Lee’s Summit, MO 64082. A memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in Longview Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Karl was born on Aug. 6, 1957, to Walter and Jean Artinger in Belleville, Illinois, and was raised in Ottawa, Kansas. Karl married Janice Round on Oct. 22, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri. In November 1995, Karl established Mid-America Calibrations, serving as President and CEO. He was an avid bowler, golfer, volleyball player, and coached his sons in all of their activities. Karl will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his sons: Collin and Kyle; his sister, Barbara McHugh and her husband, William McHugh of Columbia, Missouri, and many extended family and friends.
