Graveside services for Elle Bowden, 12, Briana Sobba, 11, and Beckham Kleman, 3, all of Wellsville, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in rural Miami County on K-68. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bowden Family Memorial Fund in care of Wilson’s Funeral Home, PO Box 486, Wellsville, Kansas 66092.


Elle Marie Bowden was born April 16, 2006, in Ottawa, Kansas. She was a seventh-grade student at Wellsville Middle School. Elle loved babies and animals. She was the oldest of six cousins and the responsible babysitter to them all. She loved writing in her free time and was always creating deep, meaningful stories to express herself. Elle was very active in sports and enjoyed hiking through the Rockies. She shared her love for dancing, singing and binge-watching movies with her family and friends. Elle’s heart was full of love and those that knew her would say she was gorgeous inside and out. She was extremely intelligent with perfect grades and played the saxophone. She had an amazing sense of humor and was selfless to the core.

Elle is survived by her mother, Heather Bowden, and younger brother, Jude Constant; her grandparents, Horace and Sheri Bowden, her uncle Jake and aunt Carey Bowden; her aunt Clytie Bowden, who will honor her life; and many extended and loved family members including great aunts and uncles.


Briana Nicole Sobba was born April 23, 2007, in Ottawa, Kansas. She was a sixth-grade student at Wellsville Middle School. Briana loved babies and animals and she was beautiful inside and out. She loved her family and always had a hug for anyone and everyone. Briana loved school and was excited about being in middle school this year and playing volleyball. She played the clarinet and loved being active. Briana was a good friend and loved helping others. She was an avid cook and loved baking.

Briana is survived by her mother, Clytie Bowden; father, Joel Sobba; sister, Lily Kleman; grandparents, Horace and Sheri Bowden; grandparents, Mike and Lisa Hastings; grandfather, Doug Sobba; great-grandparents, Ralph and Joan Taylor and great-grandma, Dorothy Sobba; her aunt, Heather Bowden; her uncle Jake and aunt Carey Bowden; aunts and uncles: Kristen and Dirk Beaty; Brooke and Dane Droddy; Colton Sobba; Krsandra Hastings; and Cody and Jake Hastings; cousins: Bryson Crawford, Kerestin and Breckyn Beaty and Hagen, Carsen, and Korben Droddy, and many great aunts and uncles.


Beckham Allen Kleman was born March 16, 2015. in Overland Park, Kansas. He was a preschool student at Wellsville Elementary School. Beckham loved being outdoors swinging on his favorite swing and searching for dinosaurs with his cousin, Jude. He had a true heart of gold, was his mama’s protector and his papa’s boy. He was strong, loved to pump his fist in the air and challenge you to a fight, and would say that blue was his favorite color.

He is survived by his mother, Clytie Bowden, and father Christopher Kleman; sisters, Baylee and Lily Kleman; brother, Blake Kleman; grandparents, Horace and Sheri Bowden; grandmother, Anna Kleman; his aunt Heather Bowden; his uncle Jake and aunt Carey Bowden; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and great aunts and uncles.
