Floyd E. Mignot, 81, of Wellsville, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at his home with family by his side.

A memorial visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville, Kansas. Graveside inurnment of cremains will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2019, at the Wellsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Floyd Emery Mignot was born May 1, 1938, in Wellsville, Kansas, the son Emery John and Ethel Mae (Sumner) Mignot. He grew up in Wellsville and graduated from WHS in 1956. Floyd was a farmer most of his life on the family farm, but was also a home builder in his younger years, helping to build several houses in the Wellsville area.

Floyd is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Pam Mignot, of Wellsville, Kansas; daughter, Cindy Mignot, of Greeley, Kansas; his companion, Linda Garber, of Richmond, Kansas; sister, Clarice Mclaughlin, of Garnett, Kansas; sister, Pauline Henery, of Ottawa, Kansas; brother, Robert Mignot, of Vassar, Kansas; brother, Arthur Mignot, of Baldwin City, Kansas; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Beth Mignot, and a sister, Dorothy Seyler.
