GARNETT — The Central Heights boys limited Anderson County to three points in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s 53-38 win in Garnett. Central Heights led 37-35 at the end of the third quarter.

“We guarded extremely well in the fourth and broke their pressure for some easy buckets that opened up the score,” Central Heights coach Rusty Cannady said. “During the third, we started with a little hick-up on both ends. We got anxious on offense and over aggressive on defense.

“We knew they would gain their composure. We went on a 31-8 run to end the game.”

Jordan Horstick paced the Vikings with 21 points. Tanner Erhart had 15.

Central Heights plays Friday at Osawatomie.

Wellsville 73, Osawatomie 56

OSAWATOMIE — Wel-lsville avenged an earlier setback to Osawatomie Tuesday with a 73-56 win over the Trojans in Osawatomie.

Cole Silsby led the Eagles with 25 points. Shamus Kearney tossed in 24. Carter Mann had 19.

Wellsville (14-3) plays Friday at home vs. Iola.

Wellsville (73) — Silsby 25, Kearney 24, Mann 19, Meyer 1, Klamm 4.
