OU-Baker game full of activities

BALDWIN CITY — The season-opening football game between No. 18 Ottawa University and No. 14 Baker University as been dubbed the County Line Clash.

The game will be 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Baker’s Liston Stadium. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

The game will be 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Baker’s Liston Stadium. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

There will be lots of activities such as the Braves tailgate party sponsored by Peoples Bank and Loyd Builders of Ottawa.

Food will be provided by Moose’s BBQ.

There is no charge, but an RSVP is required by Tuesday.

The teams are having their annual competitive food drive at the game, so attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local food bank.

Baldwin City also is having a Community Fun Day the day of the game, between 1 and 10 p.m., with events, games and blowups for all ages.
