Central Heights shuts out Burlington

Central Heights dominated its second game of the season with a score of 21-0 against Burlington High School.

“Defensively we played real strong,” Ken Schulte, Central Heights head football coach, said. “We dominated the point of attack.”

Jacob Pryor, tail back, had another good game, scoring a 4-yard touchdown run, Schulte said. Last Friday against Jayhawk-Linn High School, Pryor led the team with 109 rushing yards.

“Byron Redifer and Tyler Hendron had a real good ball game,” Schulte said. “Jordan Horstick was nine out of our 11 with 107 yards and two touchdowns. Gavin Holler had four interceptions. We dominated from the first quarter to the fourth quarter.”

The Vikings play Friday at 7 p.m. at Osawatomie High School.
