OU squads dominate Bo Boucek meet

POMONA — It was all Ottawa University Friday in the Bo Boucek Invitational at the Pomona Lake course.

The Ottawa cross-country teams swept the team titles. It was the first win of the season for the Lady Braves.

POMONA — It was all Ottawa University Friday in the Bo Boucek Invitational at the Pomona Lake course.

The Ottawa cross-country teams swept the team titles. It was the first win of the season for the Lady Braves.

The Braves had 27 points, while the Lady Braves finished with 32. Haskell was the runner-up in both divisions.

Ottawa junior Jeo Mendez won the men’s race by 34 seconds. Cole Carlson finished third, his third straight top-five finish of the season. Ethan Van Zant took sixth, his highest finish of the season.

Chelsea Fullerton was runner-up in the women’s race. Jena Richardson was sixth.

Ottawa competes Nov. 9 at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference meet in Winfield.
