Braves split weekend games

PERU, Neb. — The Ottawa University men’s basketball team split games this weekend in the KCAC/HAAC Classic at Peru State.

Ottawa beat Peru State, 88-85 on Friday. The Braves fell 73-68 Saturday to Baker.

Ottawa beat Peru State, 88-85 on Friday. The Braves fell 73-68 Saturday to Baker.

The Braves fell behind by as much as 13 points to Baker in the first half.

Ottawa was led by Adam Hasty and Kameron Lindsay with 18 points and five rebounds. Riley Faulk netted 10 points. Julian Rose had eight rebounds.

It was a high-scoring affair against the Bobcats.

Rose paced Ottawa with 21 points. Adam Hasty finished with 17 points and four assists. Lindsey had 10 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Ottawa (2-2) plays 7:30 p.m. today at Missouri Valley.
