The Ottawa University track and field program recently announced additions to their squads.

Ja’Quawn Jones

OU signed Ja’Quawn Jones for the 2018 season. He is from Cameron, Missouri, and attended Cameron High School.

Jones earned three letters in track and one in soccer from Cameron High School. He earned all-conference, all-state, and all-district honors for the Dragons. Jones ran the 400-meter and the 800-meter. He was also part of the 4x400-meter and 4x800-meter relay teams.

Jones is the son of Roderick Sapp, and plans to major in art.

Abryana Rogers

The Lady Braves signed Abryana Rogers for the 2018 season. She is from Roeland Park, and attended Lee’s Summit North High School.

Rogers earned three letters in track and field for Lee’s Summit North High School. She competed in the 400-meter and the 800-meter for the Broncos.

Rogers is the daughter of Victoria Rodriguez, and plans to major in biology.
