The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced preseason polls for the coming 2017 fall sports season.

The Lady Braves were the No. 1 pick in women’s volleyball by the conference coaches, tallying seven first place votes. Ottawa University women’s volleyball was last year’s KCAC regular season and tournament champions after finishing 31-8 overall and an undefeated 22-0 in conference play.

In cross country, the women’s team was picked fifth in the preseason polls just behind Friends, Saint Mary, Kansas Wesleyan and Southwestern. The men were selected ninth.
