BASEHOR — Following back-to-back losses, the Ottawa High School girls basketball team with play for seventh place.

The Lady Cyclones (1-9) tip off 11 a.m. today against Park Hill in the seventh-place game of the Bobcat Invitational hosted at Basehor-Linwood High School, 2108 155th St., Basehor.

Ottawa fell 50-20 Thursday in the second round of the tournament to Blue Valley. Kamryn Shaffer, senior, provided offense for OHS with 15 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the surging Lady Tigers.

Blue Valley was led in scoring by senior Katie Beth Jones.
