EMPORIA — Led by three players in double figures, the Lady Falcons topped Central Heights on the final day of the Flint Hills Shootout. The West Franklin High School girls basketball team won 54-27 Saturday in the seventh-place game at White Auditorium in Emporia.

West Franklin built a 26-14 halftime lead, and allowed just four field goals in the second half en route to the win.

Seniors Emilee Sheldon and Megan Rogers paced the team with 14 points apiece. Brooke Flory added 11 points.

Paige Stockard had 12 points, including nine of the Lady Viking’s 14 first-half points.

West Franklin is set to play Jan. 30 at Waverly.

Central Heights plays today at Osawatomie.
