After falling to 4-4 to open the season, the Braves have caught fire.

The No. 5-ranked Ottawa University men’s volleyball team (8-4) won its fourth straight match Tuesday, topping Graceland University for the second time in three days, this time at home. OU won in straight sets 25-16, 25-18, 25-18 in Wilson Field House.

Ottawa rallied in Sets 1 and 3 from an early deficit. In Set 1, after falling behind 10-5, the Braves scored 10 straight points to take the lead for good.

OU finished with a .291 attacking percentage, and doubled up Graceland in blocks 12-6.

Daniel Jacobs, senior outside hitter, had 12 kills to lead the Braves. Brandon Oswald, junior outside hitter, added 10 kills.

Ottawa plays in the Park University tournament Friday and Saturday. Its first match is set for noon Friday against No. 7 Missouri Valley College.
