The Lady Broncos had a 31-14 lead at halftime, and outscored OHS 33-6 from the start of the second half into the fourth quarter.

The Lady Cyclones made a late comeback, but it wasn’t enough to overcome another slow start.

The Ottawa High School girls basketball team fell 39-30 in its final home game of the season.

Ottawa cut an early Cardinal lead to 13-8 midway through the second quarter. Eudora ended the half on a 13-1 run to take a 26-9 lead into the locker rooms.

“We came out and we were dead at the beginning,” Jamie Porter, OHS head girls basketball coach, said. “We just couldn’t make any good, confident passes or shots. When you shoot at 19 percent, that hurts.”
