Princeton welcomes new business
Janea Magrath, owner and stylist at Grit n Grace Salon n Tannery, 102 High St., Princeton, greets patrons during the grand opening Saturday in Princeton. The business is a full-service salon offering haircuts for men and women, chemical-treatments, manicures, pedicures, nail applications, and waxing. The salon also provides tanning by Cassandra Hogan and massage therapy by Jessica Wingate. With a name like “Grit n Grace,” the salon is oriented toward attracting both male clientele as well as women, the owner said. “The grit applies to the younger men crowd and the grace to the women,” Magrath said. “We are OK with muddy boots around here.” The interior of the business is filled with a rustic-themed decor, reflecting the attitude that the name of the business implies. Members of the community turned out to welcome the new business, which opened for the first time last week. Magrath said she thinks Princeton is happy to have the salon to help the small town grow, and she is excited about the location. “We appreciate being here,” Magrath said. Grit n Grace is open Tuesday through Saturday by appointment or walk-in.
