OHS stays perfect with stunning comeback

BASEHOR — The Ottawa High School boys basketball team made a furious comeback Thursday night to remain unbeaten.

Ottawa trailed by as many as 17 points in the first half against Blue Valley in the semifinals of the Bobcat Invitational in Basehor.

Ottawa trailed by as many as 17 points in the first half against Blue Valley in the semifinals of the Bobcat Invitational in Basehor.

Ottawa, which trailed by 11 at the end of the third quarter, found another gear in the final eight minutes.

The Cyclones used a 17-0 run to get past the Tigers, 58-52. Ottawa plays in its third straight Bobcat title game. Ottawa plays 7:30 p.m. Saturday against  Basehor-Linwood in rematch of last year's state title game.
