OU men's skid reaches 3 games

WICHITA — The Ottawa University men’s basketball team lost its third straight game Wednesday to Friends, 75-67, in Wichita.

Ottawa led 32-31 at halftime, but the Falcons got hot behind the arc in the second half.

Ottawa led 32-31 at halftime, but the Falcons got hot behind the arc in the second half.

The Braves could not hold on to their halftime lead.

Friends shot 49 percent.

Ottawa placed five players in double figures.

Chase Dippel tossed in 13 points to lead the attack. Julian Rose and Kameron Lindsay netted 12 each. Stephen Feighny and Corey Smith had 10 apiece. Smith also had five rebounds and three assists.

Ottawa (7-12, 4-5) plays 7 p.m. today at home against Kansas Wesleyan.
