Sex offender reported on school campus

By COURTNEY SERVAES, Herald Staff Writer

Ottawa police responded Wednesday to a report of a registered sex offender on school property.

Lt. Adam Weingartner, with the Ottawa Police Department, said administrators at Lincoln Elementary School, 1102 N. Milner Road, Ottawa, contacted police officers after a registered sex offender picked a relative’s child up from school Wednesday evening.
